Who needs a car when you can take a lovely half-hour walk to the village center? The windows overlook a charming courtyard with a great view of. nothing. The constant hum of the electricity plant adds a zen touch to the countryside experience.
Just loved having to walk everywhere since the property is conveniently located half an hour away from the village center, but hey, who needs a car?

The location of this hotel was absolutely stunning, with a picturesque and serene setting surrounded by mountains. It provided the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, being close to the El Chorro centre and offering a range of nearby hikes and activities. The house itself had a charming and cozy atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. Additionally, the pool with its stunning mountain views was the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The stay at this cozy little house with three beds was absolutely mind-blowing! Carla was super accommodating and responsive to all our queries. The kitchen area was equipped with everything we needed, including a gas BBQ for cooking up some delicious steaks. The location amidst the orange grove was stunning, and we even had a private courtyard and pool! The comfortable bed ensured we slept well, and the pool and views exceeded all expectations. Having a car was essential for exploring nearby attractions like El Chorro and the lakes. This is the ideal place if you want a peaceful getaway close to climbing, biking, and walking. The accommodation, although basic, served its purpose perfectly, offering a cozy base for our adventures. Don't forget to enjoy the rally-like experience of the winding roads at night!

The room at Cortijo Don Rodrigo was absolutely cozy and comfortable. I loved the rustic fireplace, perfect for those chilly evenings. Having a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave was a great perk during my stay. I enjoyed cooking my own meals whenever I wanted. The private patio was such a delightful addition to the room. I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee while taking in the stunning views. The flat-screen TV and comfortable seating area made it so easy to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found the fireplace a bit difficult to use, but others may still find it charming.

the location was perfect, serene and secluded yet near the El Chorro center. The private courtyard and pool added to the peaceful ambiance. We loved exploring the area and the proximity to El Chorro, the lakes, and Malaga made it convenient for day trips.
Shower curtain didn't prevent water from flowing across the floor.

During my xmas holiday, I had a fantastic time at this charming villa nestled in a peaceful area. The location was perfect for anyone seeking outdoor activities like climbing, biking, horse riding, and walking. The villa offered a cozy base to explore the beautiful surroundings. The quaint outdoor seating area and small pool provided a lovely view of the landscape, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the host was readily available and provided helpful information throughout our stay.
While the villa had its charms, there were a few drawbacks. The shower room had a minor issue with water escaping and flooding the area, which was slightly inconvenient.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cortijo Don Rodrigo! The location was perfect for us, nestled in a beautiful orange grove with stunning views. We were lucky to have a private courtyard and pool, which made our stay even more special. The villa was well provisioned and had all the essentials we needed. The attention to detail was impressive, with little touches like soap, sponges, and even some instant coffee and oil. it was a fantastic, rustic property that provided everything we needed for a memorable holiday.
While our stay at Cortijo Don Rodrigo was wonderful overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. We did encounter an unexpected step that we kept tripping on, resulting in a bruised toe for my husband.
